Here are a few maps that show where I'm going. Since the Trans-Siberian railway ends in Vladivostok, the second map shows the region in Russian with the train line. Very cool!

Hi- The whole world is in front you. Now that you are soaring with the eagles you can see that world. Enjoy and much success.Dad Good luck and have fun. Show those Russians what real Americans are like. xoxoxo Mom
In 2006 I spent two weeks in the Russian Far East teaching multimedia journalism skills for the U.S. Department of State. This blog was kept to show how much can be done with inexpensive devices and a basic internet connection.
Software (Note: These links will take you to the companies' websites.) Audacity (audio editor) Picasa (photo editor) SoundSlides (slideshow creator) Avid DV Free (video editor) AVS Video Tools (video format converter) Skype (free/cheap phone calls over the internet)
Please also note that AudioBlogger is shutting down effective November 1, 2006. Gabcast.com is a good alternative service.
