I took the photos in this slideshow at the end of my first week in Russia, when several students took me on a walking tour of the city. I think they give you a good idea of how beautiful the city is.
In 2006 I spent two weeks in the Russian Far East teaching multimedia journalism skills for the U.S. Department of State. This blog was kept to show how much can be done with inexpensive devices and a basic internet connection.
